Tommy Jefferson

Premiere New England Art Museum

Fabiani & Company was hired to develop and implement strategies to attract Federal resources to assist the institution with the expansion of their facilities and infrastructure.  Working with the local Congressional delegation and Members of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Fabiani & Company assisted in securing $6.2 million in the 2006 Transportation Equity Act.  The authorized funds were used to assist in reducing traffic congestion and increasing access to the museum.

West Coast Children’s Hospital & Research Center

Fabiani & Company developed and implemented strategies to attract Federal dollars to assist the organization with the implementation of a computerized medical records system and the purchase of a digital cardiology machine.  Fabiani & Company assisted in securing $1.1 million through the Department of Energy and the Department of Health & Human Services for these initiatives.

Post-Secondary School in Southern California

Fabiani & Company identified and assisted with securing both competitive and discretionary resources for a proposed Center for Advanced Public Safety.  The college’s Department of Public Safety provides training to more than 100 different police and fire departments in area.  The college seeks to maximize homeland security-related dollars by implementing train-the-trainer programs at one location to ensure police officers, firefighters, nurses, EMTs, and other local first responders are prepared to react to a manmade or natural disaster in one of the most populous and economically-vital regions of the United States.

Mid-Atlantic Specialty Pediatric Hospital

Fabiani & Company developed and implemented strategies to attract Federal dollars for the institution’s pediatric spinal cord program.  Fabiani & Company worked with the organization to demonstrate to the Congress that the research and treatment being done at the facility could benefit military personnel who were afflicted with spinal cord injuries.  Fabiani & Company assisted in securing $5 million through the Department of Defense, Department of Health & Human Services, and the Department of Energy for this initiative.

Fastest-Growing University in the Midwest

Fabiani & Company was hired to develop and implement an aggressive strategy for the University to obtain federal funding.  With research facilities along the Lake Michigan shoreline, we recognized the University's unique physical and intellectual capability as a leader in water quality research, and alternative energy research and development.  In two appropriations cycles we have provided the funding needed to expand the research and education facilities for the water research institute.  Also, partnering with other universities in the Midwest, we lead in the creation and funding of a new University Transportation consortium for medium- and high-technology transportation research.

International, Nonprofit Organization

Fabiani & Company sought and continues to expand federal funding for three important initiatives – a health program, an educational program, and an ambitious global expansion initiative.

We crafted and strategically maneuvered the passage of an historic, bipartisan piece of legislation, which President Bush signed into law that year, authorizing $15 million in federal funding for the three initiatives together each year, for five years.

In addition to helping secure this critical funding, we have been integral in assisting this organization in securing over $36 million of Federal funds over a five-year period.

Largest Collaborative Childhood Cancer Research Effort

Fabiani & Company has worked to build a grassroots organization with its grants and business partner to help secure over $9.1 million over four years.  This funding will establish the first-ever childhood cancer patient database to support consensual research, long-term follow-up care and information services for childhood cancer survivors.

Most recently, the Conquer Childhood Cancer Act was passed authorizing $30 million per year until 2012 to support childhood cancer research.
