Laura Lee Hullinghorst

Lara Lee Hullinghorst has 20 years of proven success in state legislative government and US business operations. Based in Boulder, Colorado, Ms. Hullinghorst focuses on Fabiani & Company’s business development and client relationships for the US western region.

Ms. Hullinghorst previously worked as a legislative aide for the Colorado State House of Representatives.

Shortly after September 11, 2001, Ms. Hullinghorst became acting COO of New York Grant Company. During her tenure, she helped the company raise more than 11 million dollars in US Federal and New York State grants (the average grant size was $50k) for businesses adversely affected by the 9-11 tragedy.

In 1996, Ms. Hullinghorst founded Virtual Operations, a business operations consulting firm where she served as special projects manager to clients across several industries, including technology, legal, financial, hospitality and not-for-profit. She managed projects totaling over 100 million dollars in expenditures, with all projects completed on time and on budget.

She is a Certified Project Management Professional and member of Project Management Institute.

Ms. Hullinghorst has completed four marathons and several half-marathons. She co-organizes Boulder-Denver New Tech and is a member of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship’s Women’s Council.

Ms. Hullinghorst is a graduate of Vassar College, where she was awarded the Molly Thatcher-Kazan Prize for Excellence in Direction.
